Concerned Christians of Clark County is an informal group of local citizens who are deeply concerned about the direction of our society. We believe Christian citizens need to be well-informed on the many cultural issues we face today, and encouraged to pray, speak out, and vote. We invite you to join us in influencing our culture towards a more Biblical worldview.
Our Mission
We seek to encourage and assist pastors, churches, and Christian ministries in impacting our culture with a biblical worldview.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Ephesians 6:10-11 NIV
Our Message
We seek to inspire and equip pastors to boldly address important cultural issues. Christians need to be challenged with a fresh understanding of how speaking out against evil and communicating truth is both a civic and biblical responsibility. We pray that pastors will encourage their congregations to vote consistently and with Biblical discernment.
Our Objectives
Support pastors and their congregations with resources that encourage them to engage boldly in the spiritual battle against evil forces opposing Biblical values and attempting to destroy families.
Increase the percentage of Clark County Christian citizens who vote consistently.
Work with liaisons in churches to provide materials and assistance with voter registration, non-partisan voter guides, approved petition signings, and information regarding urgent action items.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe human life is sacred, from the moment of conception till natural death.
We believe God created people in his image, male and female, that God ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only in marriage.
